Solving technical problems within established companies

Troubleshooting

When diagnosing problems with software products, sometimes the issue is technical, but often it lies with team culture or process.

We've been called in to resolve specific problems, providing an independent perspective that can help to diagnose cultural issues, investigate factors affecting team performance, and overcome difficult technical challenges.

Case study: Cloud migration

Recently a client engaged us with what they thought was a technical problem affecting a specific technology. In fact, the problem they had observed was a symptom of inappropriate hosting arrangements, which our client's engineering team felt they could not challenge.

We explained the business impact of the hosting and recommended a migration to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, with automated dev ops. The Solviq team was able to pull together a migration plan for our client's existing engineering staff to follow, and to provide ongoing advice and review as the plan was implemented.
