Steve Talbot

Steve is a professional engineer and digital entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience across technical, commercial, management and consultancy roles. He has worked in corporate, SME and startup environments on projects ranging from 2 to over 400 engineers.

In his various roles as a co-founder, interim director and consultant, he has architected digital products, built and led engineering teams, supported equity raises, and even guided three companies through startup accelerators.

As a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and Liveryman, Steve is respected as a professional at the forefront of engineering. He holds a first-class MEng from the University of Cambridge, and postgraduate management and leadership qualifications.

Steve is passionate about the engineering profession. He has mentored, taught and volunteered throughout his career, including giving invited talks and teaching at Cardiff University.

In his free time, Steve swims, and you can often find him on a hike in the beautiful scenery of South Wales. He has found many good friends in Mensa Wales, for whom he holds the voluntary role of treasurer.
